Terms & Conditions of Hire.

1. Individuals hiring from 'Bikes-on-call', accept full responsibility for the care of cycles and associated equipment whilst it is in their possession.
2. Individuals will be responsible for the replacement at full retail value of any equipment rented from 'Bikes-on-call' but not returned safely. Prices for lost or damaged equipment: Pump €10.00, Seat kit €20.00, Helmet €15.00, Lock (or lock key) €10.00, Car rack €30.00, Cycle €200.00
3. As persons may be sharing the road with other automobile traffic, it is important that they observe all applicable traffic laws and understand the proper use of hand signals when turning and stopping.
4. All hired cycles when left unattended for any period, should be locked and secured to a permanent fixture with the provided locks. When securing the cycle, the frame and front wheel must be locked to the permanent fixture. Any loss of an unlocked cycle will incur costs as at para 2.
5. Cycle helmets are provided free of charge and all persons are advised to wear them for their own safety. Persons who do not wear safety equipment, do so at their own risk.
6. All cycles and equipment on charge to 'Bikes-on-call' are of a good quality. They are serviced, maintained and checked regularly and prior to each hire period.
7. (a) All cycles and equipment provided are safe and legal for use. (b) Cycles are provided with helmet, Lock and Pump as standard. (c) All cycles will on delivery to the customer, be adjusted to fit the rider. (d) Breakdown recovery is provided during daylight hours only.
8. On the safe return of all hired cycles and associated equipment, deposits will be fully refunded. Any damages/losses incurred due to negligence will be charged accordingly.
9. On no account will cycles be leased during the hours of darkness, as no lamps or lighting for the cycles are provided.
